The investigation shows how, despite how much is expected from an international tribunal on human rights, it may also violate the American Convention, but without any possibility for those affected, to obtain review of the ruling, since the resolutions of the Inter-American Court are final.En esta investigación se analiza la sentencia dictada por la Corte Interamericana de Derechos Humanos en el caso Artavia Murillo vs. Costa Rica, a fin de determinar si el órgano jurisdiccional internacional se sometió, como era su deber, a la Convención Americana sobre Derechos Humanos y demás instrumentos internacionales de derechos humanos, pertinentes al caso, y si realizó ese control de convencionalidad que exige a los estados, pero al que también está obligada.
