The initiatives of law, among others, mostly seek the elimination of the various types of knowledge process, leaving only the oral trial as a single general process, eliminating some procedural formalities, and limiting the origin of the appeal. However, prior to implementing these reforms, for an effective change to be achieved that allows the reduction of judicial delay, other changes must be made that allow the implementation of such reforms in an optimal wayA través de distintas iniciativas de ley se ha planteado al Congreso de la República la reforma al Código Procesal Civil y Mercantil, por medio de las cuales se busca agilizar el proceso de conocimiento y así disminuir la mora judicial. Las iniciativas de ley, entre otros, en su mayoría buscan la eliminación de los diversos tipos de proceso de conocimiento, dejando como un único proceso general el juicio oral, eliminando algunos formalismos procedimentales y limitando la procedencia del recurso de apelación.
