Abstract
This article analyzes the reestablishment of rights in children victims of sexual abuse, based on the obligations of the State set forth in the international and national regulations that embrace the doctrine of the best interests of the child and the functioning of the competent institutions in the municipality of Girón (Santander), with a view to establishing the process applied by the authorities of the National Family Welfare System. Appealing to documentary analysis and conducted interviews, it is found that in the matter of restoration of the rights of children when they are victims of sexual abuse, attention is given based on the doctrine of irregular situation, since the child is treated as a care provider and not as a subject of rights. |
