This fundamental law was also studied by Jeremy Bentham and Blaquiere, who found in their articles some good political principles. Nevertheless, they thought that the Constitution should have to be improved in some ways: colonies, religion, relationship between Executive and Legislative branches, and the amendment procedure. Even the British Parliament discussed about the Spanish Constitution, mainly about its application in Naples. In these discussions, Lord Holland played an important role, as he was very connected with Spanish affairs.La Constitución española de 1812 se tradujo al inglés, resultando bien conocida entre los políticos británicos. Algunos de los periódicos más relevantes trataron sobre dicha Constitución, especialmente en 1813, 1820 y 1823, y de hecho algunos españoles inmigrados emplearon este mismo foro para dar a conocer sus opiniones sobre la Constitución. Esta ley fundamental también fue estudiada por autores como Bentham y Blaquiere, quienes hallaron en su articulado algunos buenos principios de política. Aun así, consideraban que el texto tenía que mejorarse en algunos aspectos: colonias, religión, relaciones entre Ejecutivo y Legislativo y procedimiento de reforma. Incluso el Parlamento británico debatió sobre la Constitución española, sobre todo en relación con su aplicación a Nápoles.
