Summary: Translocalmotion is the theme of the Shanghai Biennial-2008. The People's square becomes the starting point for transfer and passage. From this place connections, interconnections and social, economical, cultural and emotional exchanges occur. It's about resuming a certain emotion in movement (emotion in motion), more appropriately described as e-motion in motion, where technological network mechanisms play a key role. We want to reapproach distinct historical times: yesterday's Potosi, which still reverberates in today's Evo Morale's Bolivia, interrogating as to the future of a mixed society and Shanghai Biennial-2008, China, under the symbol of translocalmotion, talking about the past-future of Hutong's apples and the birds in ordinary bamboo cages.
