Although this has been of interest to specialists, there is little development of studies that address this issue in the South American context, as part of the global south. This article tries to make a contribution to this question by studying the case of governance in the Metropolitan Region of Córdoba, Argentina, 2019. The analysis shows: a) a diversity of relationships that articulate governmental and non-governmental actors from different levels, participating in multiple forums and coordination relationships around various issues. b) a network of coordination relationships that shows a polycentric and multilevel governance; c) finally, it suggests a polycentrality given by the performance of some local governments that have greater institutional complexityLa literatura especializada sugiere que los espacios metropolitanos se caracterizan por la emergencia de nuevos asuntos a resolver, nuevos actores intervinientes y nuevas relaciones de coordinación, configurando así una gobernanza compleja.
