The methodological approach used centrally was of a descriptive documentary type. The results achieved made it possible to specify that the imposition established on the outflow of capital participates positively, within the Ecuadorian economic policy, and although this tax is blamed for the low investment, entry of foreign currency into the country, and economic stagnation. , this tax fulfills its regulatory purpose, preventing the de-dollarization of Ecuador, and at the same time contributing significantly to the Ecuadorian Treasury.La investigación tiene por objetivo analizar el impuesto a la salida de divisas y sus efectos en la economía ecuatoriana. El enfoque metodológico empleado centralmente fue de tipo descriptivo documental. The objective of the research is to analyze the foreign currency outflow tax and its effects on the Ecuadorian economy.
