Summary: This paper discusses the effectiveness of implementing ergonomic methods and physical activity through active breaks in the office work routine in order to prevent musculoskeletal injuries at the level of the lumbar spine, which lead to low back pain and in some cases even to absence from work due to this problem. It is important to prevent the appearance of this type of injuries and their chronification in office workers, since due to the ergonomic occupational risks involved in the scope of their work, they present some type of musculoskeletal injuries at the level of the back, as is the case of lumbar pain, which is very frequent in this group of people.
