In this context, teleworking went from being an option, more or less attractive for both parties, to a necessary organizational strategy for many companies, in which the use of technology has been essential. However, the immense and intense capacity of new technologies to obtain information (data) has challenged the protection of the furthest realm for the employer until then: the worker’s private sphere.La situación de emergencia ocasionada por la pandemia de Covid-19 obligó en marzo a la adopción de una serie de medidas excepcionales para tratar, al menos, de ralentizar su avance. El confinamiento domiciliario de la población planteó un escenario sin precedentes tanto para las empresas como para los trabajadores. En este contexto, el teletrabajo pasó de ser una opción, más o menos atractiva para ambas partes, a un planteamiento de organización necesario para muchas empresas, en el que el uso de las tecnologías ha resultado imprescindible.
