From this perspective, the analysis of the functioning of the market, as the institution that reaches the development of such exercises, can relate to collective rights associated with the healthy environment and the exercise of economic welfare. This welfare is represented in the freedom of choice of the economic activity itself and the consumer protection, with no other restrictions than the ones imposed by the development of the principles of equality, freedom of action and the preservation of life through the limitation of economic activities that generate disturbances to the environment.El presente artículo analiza al mercado como el espacio donde conjuntamente se ejercita el intercambio de bienes y servicios para la satisfacción de necesidades tanto básicas como no básicas, donde también se ejercita el cumplimiento de derechos tanto desde la libertades económicas como desde los derechos económicos, sociales y culturales (DESC). Desde esta perspectiva, el análisis del funcionamiento del mercado como la institución que logra el desarrollo de tales ejercicios puede relacionarse con los derechos colectivos asociados al medio ambiente sano y al ejercicio de un bienestar económico.
