Summary: This contribution deals with the last thirty years (1989-2019) in the history of Poland. A few years in which the Polish nation managed to free itself from Soviet-type communism to carry out an extraordinary process transition to democracy that made it possible to be linked to the Alliance Atlantic and the European Union. These years have undoubtedly been a time for the vast majority of polish the best period in the history of the country for almost three centuries. To understand the uniqueness of the time in polish history, it is necessary to look back and to review in the light of history the process carried out since the end from communism to the present day. That is what it is all about here.
