Does the antisocial or violent personality have characteristics or circumstances that associate it with an abnormal risk of suffering a pathological process or being unfavorably affected by such a process? What makes “antisocial” or “violent” risk? Can society protect people from the risk situation that surrounds, surrounded or will surround them in the future? What aspects of the violent personality as a high risk subject must know the professionals that guarantee the safety of citizens, social services, medicine, law, psychology and education, among others, to focus –from their fields of knowledge– in a more effective way their intervention processes? In this article we’ll try to approach all those circumstances that characterize the risk situation of the antisocial and violent personality, to know it better, and to refine our actions in order to achieve their integration into society. |
