Summary: Contemporary phenomena occurring from the second half of the twentieth century on, have caused a spontaneous movement of reciprocal convergence between the romangermanic and the anglo saxon system models. This convergence can give rise to a new type of mixed jurisdiction, which arises spontaneously through the reciprocal incorporation of mechanisms that seek to improve the legal system and the structure of administration of justice. Contemporary jurisdiction therefore appropriately defines a system that promotes adjustments, mixing the use of codes and cases and deductive and inductive methods, with the scope of improving legal certainty and rationality of the judicial system.
