Summary: Problems linked with stereotypes, discrimination and inequality due to gender, are present in a variety of social institutions, including those responsible to administering justice. The article sought to know whether if sociodemographic features, the labor rank, gender variables and the characteristics of the labor court influence gender representations within the Chilean Judicial Branch. The issue is relevant within both, the framework of the International Human Rights commitments acquired by Chile, and the gender equality and non-discrimination policy of the PJUD.
