Summary: Conflict and violence are two words that are very common, very important for the individual and collective conscience. These are two concepts used in everyday language to stand for and to standarize discomforts of varying degrees. Consequentially, they are often confused when describing certain facts and actions. This article proposes a definition of these concepts. It studies the singularity that each provide to a political analysis in a specific context. In the light of the center-periphery model examines the important factors that influence these concepts manifestations.
