Summary: The main purpose of this article is to make a descriptive and critical analysis of the mechanisms of referendum and implementation that were carried out in the framework of the “final agreement for the ending of the conflict and the construction of a stable and lasting peace between the Government and the Farc-EP”. For this purpose, the referendum issue will be analyzed from the point of view of the suitability of the chosen mechanism to consult the people, while the issue of implementation will be addressed from the perspective of normative production, material of execution, pertinence of the chosen implementation mechanisms in terms of legitimacy, effectiveness and convenience.
