Understanding the time to which Husserl wrote is crucial to understanding the conclusions which he reaches in his book and also to understand which authorities and institutions he criticizes. The work is divided into six points, where we analyzed since their bibliographic data, to general aspects of his work, for his phenomenological philosophy and his doctrine of transcendental subjectivity to finally get to the central work of our work approach.O presente trabalho tem por objetivo expor as principais ideias de Edmund Husserl (1859-1938) em seu livro A crise da humanidade europeia e a filosofia (1935). Para melhor entender tal obra nos propusemos também a buscar um melhor entendimento da vida e obra do autor como um todo. Entender a época à qual Husserl escrevia é crucial para entender as conclusões as quais ele chega em seu livro e também para entender quais as autoridades e instituições ele critica.
