Summary: The purpose of this review article is to analyze the different reparations existing in the Colombian legal system in relation to the victims of anti-personnel mines (MAP) and the harm they have caused over the years worldwide. For this purpose, it starts from a documentary and hermeneutic study, examining the history of explosive devices, and bringing together experiences of social reconstruction such as El Salvador, Ecuador and Peru among others. It starts from the human being as the author of peaceful and violent stories, where dignity is used as a dissipator of transgressions through human rights, coined to provide protection to the victims of atrocities of existing armed actors, where not only the Cessation of hostilities, but also the reparation of the damages caused and the truth of the events occurred. Therefore, the numbers of victims are studied at national level, confronting the victims of the Department of Norte de Santander, where it can be concluded according to the documents analyzed, that this region is a constant scenario of violence, where different armed groups Exert control of the territory and spread distress in communities distant from the urban case.
