After the annulment of both sources by the Court of Justice of the European Communities in 2006, the legal frame was substituted first by the October 16, 2006, Provisional Agreement between the European Union and the United States of America and, after, by the Agreement signed on July 23, 2007 by the EU and on July 26, 2007 by USA.Una Decisión de la Comisión Europea de 14 de mayo de 2004, acompañada por el Acuerdo Internacional concluido entre la Unión Europea y los Estados Unidos de América, de 28 de mayo de 2004, estableció el marco jurídico que permitía a las compañías aéreas transferir los datos PNR de los pasajeros.
