The international community is developing a multi-level stabilization and reconstruction strategy, which emerges from political, economic, social and military considerations and is based on three groups of interconnected goals: security, development and governance, aimed at achieving the afghanisation. The analysis of the results so far shows a negative balance concerning the security and development, and implies an important challenge for the current agenda of the international community.El conflicto que se libra desde 2001 en Afganistán es especialmente intenso por el número y la diversidad de factores y actores que inciden en el, junto a la compleja interconexión de los mismos. Dicha complejidad se asienta en las propias características internas del país, en su ubicación geográfica y en las actuaciones de los actores domésticos y externos, planteando un importante desafío para su conversión en un país estable y próspero.La estrategia de reconstrucción y estabilización, a distintos niveles, desarrollada por la comunidad internacional, parte de un marco general que aúna aspectos políticos, económicos, sociales y militares, y se basa en una triada de objetivos interconectados: seguridad, desarrollo y gobernanza, que desemboque en la afganización.
