Summary: Brain fingerprinting (BF) is a controversial technique that uses electroencephalograms (EEG) to determine whether specific information is stored in a person's brain. This information, the memories that the subject might have, is mesured by the brainwaves which are stimulated when the subject is shown pictures or words in a computer screen. In this article we explore the possibilities of its use, as well as defects that this method can present in order to discern the origin of the information stored in a person's brain.
