Summary: |
In this article aims to deepen the status of the victims of the armed conflict based on some of the results of the project titled
Families and Memories´ Building (Familias y Construcción de Memorias). This project was founded and financed by
Colciencias and the Simon Bolivar University in Barranquilla. Its main objective was to analyze the historical memory
of the people who were displaced from their territories by the massacres in 2000 in the towns of El Salado (department of
Bolivar) and Nueva Venecia (palafitic population in the department of Magdalena). This analysis is made from the perspective
of Michel Foucault. Moreover, it emphasizes on how it has been configured the victim category in order to be focus of
attention, of the state, examining some articles of the Law of Victims and Restitution of Land (1448 Law), and confronting
them with vignettes of the project mentioned above. Also, it consists on how these have been incorporated by the academy
and the implications on educative formation. And finally, there are some of the questions and remaining concerns linked
to Foucault´s work. |
