Summary: The purpose of this article is to rethink the epistemological status of law from historical, political, and social elements of reality and its evaluation around the values of the human being in his/her intersubjective relations. It is about considering legality from a critical and socio-cultural point of view, which makes possible to understand and use law in a wider context, supported by the auxiliary sciences of law. Through that, hermeneutics, interdisciplinarity, and the practical reason as spaces of what is reasonable are taken into consideration since they have a lot to contribute to juridical science and to the training of lawyers.
