This article shows the results of the research carried out about the right to love from the legal
perspective, with respect to intimate personal relationships. As part of the conclusion, the
right to be alone is recognized, as well as, the right to have a partner, which can be identified
through three aspects: sexuality, marriage and possession; but, in addition, the article emphasizes
the findings of the research about the use of love as a strategy of war. The family is
derived from the love of a couple, which in turn manifests into children�s right to receive love,
the obligation of the parents to give it, the role of love in human development, and the love
that children receive from other relatives such as grandparents and siblings; as well as the
right to love that people have even if they are deprived of their liberty.

De l�amour du couple est dérivée la famille, qui se traduit par le droit des enfants à recevoir de l�amour, l�obligation des parents de le donner, le rôle de l�amour dans le développement humain, l�amour reçu par les enfants de la part d�autres membres de la famille comme les grands-parents et les frères et soeurs, ainsi que le droit des personnes privées de leur liberté d�aimer.El presente artículo arroja los resultados de la investigación sobre el derecho al amor desde el aspecto jurídico, respecto de las relaciones personales íntimas y donde se termina concluyendo que se reconoce el derecho a estar solo, pero también el derecho a tener una pareja, lo cual se identifica con tres aspectos: la sexualidad, el matrimonio y la posesión; pero, además, se destaca dentro de los hallazgos de la investigación la utilización del enamoramiento como una estrategia de guerra.
