In this regard and bearing in mind their connection to different States, it is crucial to determine which law is applicable to the contract. This article deals with the approaches made by selected countries with respect to the choice of law rules in disputes arising out of intellectual property rights issues and disputes of contractual nature of this sort of contracts.El carácter internacional de los contratos de transferencia de tecnología implica su conexión a más de un Estado, bien porque las partes involucradas en estos acuerdos están domiciliadas en países distintos o bien porque los derechos de propiedad intelectual deban ser explotados en el extranjero. En este sentido y teniendo en cuenta su conexión con diferentes Estados, es crucial la determinación de la ley aplicable al contrato.
