First of all, the electronic juridical acts are defined and in consequence the electronic commerce, its modalities, the advantages and inconveniences of this new way of making business are exposed, focusing mainly on the Internet, and finally, the projects and regulator alternatives of some international organisms are explained. A documental revision was made: bibliography, periodical publi-cations and international agreements. It is concluded that there is a valuable regulation effort regarding e-commerce, but the countries should work together internally.Este trabajo trata del comercio electrónico y el tratamiento que de él hacen los organismos internacionales competentes. En primer lugar se definen los actos jurídicos electrónicos y, en consecuencia, el comercio electrónico, se exponen sus modalidades, las ventajas e inconvenientes de esta nueva forma de hacer negocios a través de Internet principalmente, y por último se explican los proyectos y alternativas reguladoras de algunos organismos internacionales. Se empleó una revisión documental: bibliografía, hemerográfica y de acuerdos internacionales.
