Laburpena: The Spanish Constitution provides for the principle of equality with different content, both from a standpoint of formal legal equality, and real equality. To a large extent, it appears that the principle of equality in the regulation of legal relations is an equal formal family. However, we still have a long way to achieve real equality. Today there are still important differences between men and women, in fact in Spanish society women do not exercise their rights under the same terms as men.
