Laburpena: Today, the idea that there are international standards that must be kept by a State while negotiating the demobilization and reinstatement of members of groups outside the law has become strong within the international system As such, there are those who say that Colombia must uphold some minimum principles when it comes to truth, justice and reparation, especially taking into account the latest developments associated with international law, human rights, international humanitarian laws and international criminal law. In order to satisfy these international standards States must adopt measures that allow both, victims and society in general to get to know the motives, timing and places that have to do with the disappearance and murder of people.
