Summary: From the absolutist conception of Napoleon's Code to the establishment of the principles of solidarity of León Duguit, the law of property has been object of the largest restrictions, limitations and impositions up to the point of becoming a real public burden. Colombian 1991 Constitution starting from a social state of law point of view, not only ratifies these limits, but also promotes some special forms of property such as the associative and liable property.
