Summary: The 2019 Equinet Work Plan for the Equinet Working Group on Equality Law identified that the Group would discuss recent and upcoming case-law of the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR). The plan included consideration of how equality bodies and Equinet could best contribute to developing the ECtHR?s jurisprudence, including increased analysis of Article 14 of the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR) and issues that are at the cutting edge of equality law and theory. In pursuit of this aim, the Working Group has monitored Article 14 cases communicated by the ECtHR to identify those that are directly relevant to equality and non-discrimination and the work of equality bodies. The Group sought communicated cases relating to equality and non-discrimination to consider opportunities to contribute by way of a potential third-party intervention (TPI) to the ECtHR
